The Frontman - Epic, who goes by Aaron Matney by day, is the home-grown, US born and bred Trivia man of the show. The host, owner, and operator of the podcast, Detroit Metal Podcast originated as a spin-off of an upcoming Hard Rock/Heavy Metal review show "Detroit Metal Academy". Seeing a market for such a podcast, he recruited Sid from TSE to help him make DMP a reality.
Lead - Sid is the German Guitar Guru and resident music expert. Sid provides musical prowess and expertise on the development of metal as a whole. He gives DMP a nice look at metal in Europe, Germany in specific, and gives the 'cast a rich sound with his awesome accent and knowledge of the music he loves.
Drums - Tyrant is the member in the background, the one who no one really gets to see out front. Tyrant writes reviews of Metal albums and posts them on the Spoony Experiment Forums, which is what drew the attention of Aaron and Sid. While not having appeared in any 'casts to date in person, his opinions and reviews are always in mind when any band is discussed by the other two.
